Privacy Policy
Cosmic Destiny (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through https://cosmicdestiny.in/, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Details you give us: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, date, time and place of birth, your question, and payment reference (UTR) or screenshot when you book or contact us.
- Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, through server logs and (if enabled) analytics cookies.
We do not collect card or net-banking details – payments are made directly through your UPI app or bank.
Why we use it
- To prepare your chart, hold your consultation and deliver any report (performance of the service you asked for).
- To confirm your booking and payment and reply to your messages, including on WhatsApp.
- To keep records required by law (for example tax records).
- To send updates or articles only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
Consent
By ticking the consent box on our forms, you agree to us processing your data for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to contact@cosmicdestiny.in; this does not affect processing already done.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and email (such as our hosting provider), under confidentiality, or when required by law or a court order.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for up to three years so we can help with follow-up questions, then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Security
The site uses HTTPS and access to submissions is limited to the astrologer and site administrators. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents we have not asked for.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate another person to exercise these rights. Write to contact@cosmicdestiny.in and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Consultations for anyone under 18 must be booked by a parent or guardian, who gives consent on the child’s behalf.
